"Le You Yuan" tells the story of the turmoil in the court, the fall of imperial power, and the emperor's grandson Li Wei (played by Xu Kai), who guards the border passes, is forced to take on the heavy task of countering the rebellion, and Cui Lin (played by Jing Tian), the only daughter of the general who hides her true identity, each leads an army to get involved in disputes.
