Brief introduction:
Amy Jellicoe (played by Laura Dern) is an ambitious senior executive in a multinational conglomerate, but over the years, she has had to face difficult challenges - both at work and in life. As a result, she often went insane and hysterical in public, leading to her own disgrace. After being forced to spend some time at a mental health clinic in Hawaii, Amy returned to her old life. This time, she is determined to reinvent herself and transform herself into a more civilized, "sunny" and pragmatic woman. But...... Amy's sudden high profile not only did not improve her image, but caused a series of ridiculous "incidents" and caused a lot of trouble for the people around her - even worse than before she "improved"! The first season of the show is 10 episodes and airs every Monday. Luke Wilson plays Amy's ex-husband, Levi, who is addicted to drugs; Diane Ladd plays Amy's mother, Helen, who has always been dissatisfied with her daughter (the two actors are also a mother and daughter in real life); Sarah Burns plays Krista, Amy's former assistant who climbed into Amy's management position during Amy's recuperation; Timm Sharp plays Amy's boss, Dougie; Amy Hill plays the serious head of human resources, Judy; Mike White plays Amy's colleague Tyler, who has a mild-tempered temperament.
