Kyle Bornheimer plays the multi-episode character Jack, Michaela's main love interest in the second season. He seems to have a set of opinions on everything, he can do whatever he wants, and he wants what he wants. Britt Lower plays the multi-episode character Sarah Finn and is Alex's ex-girlfriend. She has a new fiancé...... But she re-entered Alex's life. Katie Aselton plays the role Jennifer in multiple episodes. She is a new physiotherapist who has just rented an empty office next door to Valerie. Jennifer is calm and experienced, and has a group of old friends with whom she has been friends for many years. Jennifer has successfully transitioned her life after her divorce, and Valerie would love to be a part of her life circle. Julie Berman was promoted to a regular cast member in the second season, where she played Leia, Valerie's assistant, in the first season.
