The play takes a vicious case as the starting point, and through the perspective of the young criminal policeman Chang Zheng (played by Huang Jingyu), it tells the heroic story of two generations of public security officers and police officers who are not afraid of hardships and dangers in order to maintain the peace of one party and sweep away criminal gangs. In the small city of Changwu (fictional), on the front line of the crisis-ridden battle, Chang Zheng, the deputy captain of the Criminal Investigation Brigade, was caught in the whirlpool because of his long-term pursuit of the powerful Zhao Xiaosheng family.
