Bushiroad's trading card game "Card Fight!! The fifth season of the TV anime series based on "Vanguard". Most of the characters have been replaced from the story, which has reached a break in the fourth season, and we are entering a new story centered on the main character, Shin Chrono. Yui Umemoto was the new director from this work, and the series composition was passed on to Kiyoko Yoshimura of "The Last Exile -Silver-Winged Femme-" and "The Devil's Riddle". Character design continues to be handled by Tominagamari.　　One day, junior high school student Shindo Chrono discovers a mysterious stack of cards and a map in his shoe box. It was from a card game called "Vanguard", and it was a phantom card that no one had ever seen before called "Gear Chronicles". After learning about the world of "Vanguard" and meeting Shion Kiba and Tokoha Anjo, Chrono's fate begins to change drastically.
