As we enter the new century, Yuki Tomino has prepared one answer, and that is "Brain Powered." Born out of Tomino's frustration, "Aren't today's adults turning all their children into 'parentless children'?", this work features two "parentless children" as the main characters: Miyu Isa, who had "reclaimer" parents and abandoned their parents on her own, and Hiei Utsunomiya, a Brainpowered pilot who lost her parents at a young age. In the near future, the mysterious ruins of "Orphan" suddenly surfaced from the deep sea, and were about to travel to space while sucking up biological energy.　　At the same time, an "anti-body" that revives from the plate also appears, and the UN tries to prevent it from ascent by using the anti-body "Bren Powered" that repels Orphan, while it becomes a "reclaimer" and tries to travel to space together. Now that we are in the 21st century, this is a work that I would like to rewatch.
