China Fire Day is on November 9 every year. The reason why this day is designated as Fire Day is because its numerical homonym is the same as "119" (our country's fire alarm number), which has a profound meaning. In 1963, the focus of fires in various countries around the world gradually shifted to Asia, and Japan published the book "The Relationship between Life and Property and Different Types of Fires" after a series of major fires. In the same year, China's Ministry of Public Security also issued the "Notice on Implementing Fire Risk Prevention", requiring the whole country to strengthen fire safety publicity and education to eliminate fire hazards. Therefore, November 9 has gradually established its status as China's "Fire Fighting Day".
