This drama is adapted from the manga of the same name, which tells the story of Yutakiya (Watanabe), the second son of one of Japan's leading Ise zaibatsu as a lover's child, who grew up persecuted by relatives. Yukiya, who left home and stood on his own, met the destined woman Erika (played by Takimoto), and felt "happiness" for the first time in his life. The two got married, thinking that this happiness would last forever. But Erika will do anything to get what she wants. In order to take the Ise zaibatsu for himself, she became pregnant with the child of Yukiya's elder brother Masayuki and remarried her brother. The "cuckold husband" who was persecuted by his hometown and betrayed by his beloved wife vowed to take revenge on the Ise chaebol from the bottom.
